Al Jaberi
Dates Farm

Sun-ripened Medjool Dates grown in the fertile Jordan Valley — harvested by hand, sorted with care, exported with pride.

Rooted in Jericho

One of the oldest cultivated lands on earth — our farm carries on a tradition that stretches back generations.

Jericho · West Bank · Palestine

Al Jaberi Dates Farm is a family-owned and family-operated agricultural estate situated in the Jordan Valley near Jericho — one of the lowest and warmest locations on earth, where the combination of intense sun, rich alluvial soil, and access to deep groundwater creates ideal growing conditions for the Medjool palm.

Our family has tended this land for decades, learning the rhythms of the date palm from the ground up. Every decision on our farm — from irrigation scheduling and hand-pollination to the timing of the harvest — is guided by experience passed from one generation to the next.

We grow exclusively Medjool dates, the variety prized internationally for its large size, rich caramel flavour, and soft, moist texture. Our commitment is to bring the best of what Jericho's land produces to buyers around the world.

Our Medjool Dates

From blossom to box — every step is handled with the care that Medjool dates deserve.

The Medjool date is widely regarded as the finest date variety in the world. Known as the "King of Dates," Medjool is distinguished by its exceptional size, naturally soft and chewy texture, and a deep, complex sweetness that carries notes of caramel and honey — all without any added sugar or preservatives.

Grown in Jericho's Jordan Valley — one of the most historically significant date-producing regions on the planet — our fruit benefits from extreme heat during the growing season, cool nights that concentrate natural sugars, and the mineral-rich soil of the valley floor.

Growing

Our Medjool palms are hand-pollinated each spring to ensure maximum fruit set. During the long, hot summer, individual date clusters are bagged to protect the developing fruit from insects and weather.

Harvest

Harvest takes place in late summer and early autumn when the fruit reaches peak ripeness. Our team climbs each palm by hand to cut entire clusters, carefully lowered to prevent bruising. Dates are never mechanically shaken.

Sorting

After harvest, dates are sorted by trained staff who inspect each fruit individually. They are graded by skin condition and then classified by size into Large, Medium, and Small categories according to dried-fruit weight.
